The best sights of Vienna

Vienna – the Austrian capital, called the heart of Europe. This city attracts from the first sight of the grandeur of its squares, a truly luxurious palaces, an insane number of squares, parks, scenic, joyful, lively streets. It is impossible to clearly define, Vienna is an ancient city or modern, as it contains the notes of modernism and innovation that is infused with a hint of antiquity of former ages. The Hofburg Palace

This is really gorgeous Imperial Palace, which is located in the heart of Vienna. The Hofburg was the residence of the monarchy of the Habsburgs for over 600 years. Nowadays this building is the residence of the President of Austria.

The ancient Palace is composed of a complex of Imperial buildings, which were added in different eras new rulers, so the styles of architecture do not contain harmony. The first building was constructed in 1279, but there is evidence that suggests that this castle was built long before the Habsburgs. St. Stephen’s Cathedral

St. Stephen’s Cathedral was built in the 12th century, at the time, he was the center of the city. In 1258 in Vienna took place on the devastating fire, which has not spared and the Cathedral.
